1. What a cookie actually is

A cookie is a tiny text file a website keeps in your browser. It allows the site to hold on to small bits of information between page loads or repeat visits, such as whether you have accepted the cookie banner or which market page you viewed last. Cookies are not programs and cannot carry malware. Throughout this page we use "cookies" as a catch-all term that also takes in related technologies like browser local storage and tracking pixels.

2. The cookies casinoclaude.xyz uses

The table below lists every cookie you might collect while browsing CasinoClaude.xyz, sorted by type. Essential session cookies always load, because the site would not work without them. Analytics cookies load only after you have agreed to them on the banner.

Category Cookie name(s) Purpose Retention
Essential session cc_session Anonymous session ID used for basic security and rate-limiting. Session only (deleted when the browser closes)
Essential session cc_consent Remembers your cookie-banner decision so it does not pop up on every page. 12 months
Analytics _ga, _ga_* Google Analytics, aggregated, IP-anonymised traffic measurement. 13 months
Analytics _clck, _clsk Microsoft Clarity, aggregated heatmaps and scroll behaviour, no personal identifiers. 12 months (_clck) / session (_clsk)
Analytics _pk_id, _pk_ses Matomo, visitor and session counters, IP anonymisation on. 13 months / 30 minutes

That is everything. We set no advertising cookies, run no remarketing pixels, and never sell or pass cookie-derived data to any third party for marketing.

3. Turning cookies off in your browser

The fastest way to stop analytics on CasinoClaude.xyz is the consent banner, decline it and those analytics cookies never fire. If you would rather manage cookies everywhere, across every site you visit, every major browser hands you the tools to inspect, block or delete them:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. From here you can block third-party cookies, block them all, or wipe existing cookies for specific sites.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. The "Strict" setting blocks cross-site tracking cookies out of the box.
  • Safari (macOS): Settings → Privacy → block all cookies, or use Manage Website Data to clear individual entries. On iOS: Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
  • Private / incognito windows: any cookie set in a private window is wiped automatically the moment you close the window.

Blocking the essential cookies will break parts of the site, most notably the consent banner will forget the choice you made. Blocking analytics cookies changes nothing about the content or reviews and will never shut you out of anything.

4. Third-party cookies you might collect

A few of the cookies you might collect while browsing CasinoClaude.xyz come from third parties rather than from us. The usual example is affiliate attribution: when you follow an outbound link to a casino, the operator you land on, or its affiliate network, may drop a cookie so that any sign-up you make afterwards is credited to CasinoClaude.xyz. That is how our referral fees are worked out. It adds nothing to what you would normally spend and it never affects our scoring. As soon as you reach the operator's site, its own cookie policy applies. Affiliate cookies like these usually last somewhere between 30 and 90 days.

5. Getting in touch and updates

If you have questions about the cookies we use or the data we hold on you, email [email protected]. Broader personal-data matters are covered in our Privacy Policy. Whenever the site's tooling changes or the rules around it shift, we revise this page and update the last-updated date at the top. The current version is dated 31 July 2026.
