1. Who we are
CasinoClaude.xyz is an independent online-casino review site published at the domain casinoclaude.xyz. Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, we act as the data controller for the personal data covered on this page. We run no casinos, we hold no player accounts, and no deposit, wager or withdrawal ever passes through our systems.
2. The personal data we gather
We keep data collection firmly restricted to what it takes to run the site and to answer people who write in. Put simply:
- We collect no personal data beyond what you send us through the contact form or by email. If you never message us, we have no idea who you are.
- Simple, anonymised analytics show us which pages are being read and roughly which country a reader is in, without ever identifying anyone.
- Ordinary server logs record IP addresses briefly for security reasons.
- A tiny handful of cookies remembers your consent decision and a few basic display preferences.
We do not gather payment details, we do not request identity documents, we do not build advertising profiles of individual readers, and we never sell, rent or trade personal data.
3. What, why and how long we keep it
| What data we collect | Why we collect it | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Contact form and email messages (name, email, message body) | To respond to you and, where it applies, update the site | 24 months after the last message in the thread, then deleted |
| Aggregated analytics (page views, referring URL, country / region, device type) | To see which content gets used and where the site can be improved | Up to 14 months, aggregated after that |
| Server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) | Security, spam and abuse prevention, technical diagnostics | 30 days rolling |
| Cookie-consent record | Remembering that you have already responded to the consent banner | 12 months, or until you clear it in your browser |
4. Our lawful basis (GDPR)
Under Article 6 of the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, we depend on just two lawful bases and nothing further:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics and functional cookies. Nothing other than strictly necessary cookies runs until you have agreed to them on the cookie banner, and you are free to withdraw that consent at any time.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for answering messages you have decided to send us, for keeping strictly necessary cookies operating, and for retaining brief server logs that keep the site secure.
5. Cookies and tracking
We rely on a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies load on every visit, since the site would not work without them; analytics and functional cookies load only once you have agreed through the banner. The complete breakdown, cookie by cookie, lives on our Cookies page.
6. Who can see your data
A few parts of the site depend on trusted processors. None of them gets more than it needs, and each is tied down either by GDPR-compliant contractual clauses or by an equivalent legal safeguard.
- Hosting provider. A European host runs the site and keeps standard server logs briefly for security.
- Email provider. Messages sent to [email protected] are processed by a European mail host under a written data-processing agreement.
- Analytics. Aggregated, anonymised traffic measurement runs only after you consent (IP anonymisation on).
- Affiliate networks. When you follow an outbound link to a casino, the operator you reach, or its affiliate network, may set its own cookie so that any later sign-up is credited to CasinoClaude.xyz. That takes place on the operator's own site, and its own privacy policy applies from the moment you arrive there.
7. The rights the GDPR gives you
If you are in the UK, the EEA or anywhere with equivalent safeguards, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify anything that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure, the "right to be forgotten". You can ask us to delete any personal data we hold on you by emailing [email protected]; we act on verified requests within the 30-day window the law requires.
- Restrict or object to how we process it.
- Withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any point, with no side effects on anything else.
- Data portability, meaning you can receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Complain to your local supervisory authority (in the UK, that is the ICO at ico.org.uk).
8. Getting in touch
Send any privacy question, data-subject access request or concern about how we handle your information to [email protected]. Please give us enough detail to locate your data, usually the email address you have written from before plus any relevant dates, and tell us what you would like us to do.
9. Changes to this policy
We revisit this page whenever the site's tooling changes or the rules around it shift. When a change is significant, the last-updated date at the top moves and the earlier version is archived internally. The version currently live is dated 31 July 2026.
